The move comes as the shop with the same name on Woodhorn Road in Ashington, which relocated from North Seaton Road, celebrates a highly successful first year.
David Crook, managing director of Bakers Pantry Ltd that owns the Andersons outlets, said: “One year ago this month, we brought the well-loved Andersons brand back to the high street with an updated format when we opened the shop in Ashington.
“Andersons has an extremely loyal customer following and the shop has done very well.

“It’s a great location and we want to help people shop locally and keep the town centre busy.”
The new shop will open at 8.30am and to celebrate, everything will be sold at half price on Saturday – with free tea and coffee.
