Hide AdJames Matthewson, who is representing Labour, hopes he can secure enough votes to clinch a seat.
Born and bred in Alnwick, James said: “I believe community is at the heart of our area and I personally want to see our towns and villages within Alnwick ward build on those close community relationships. I would seek community involvement at every opportunity.
“One of the biggest issues, I think, facing Northumberland, and particularly Alnwick, is hidden poverty and people just making ends meet.
“If elected, I will become one of the youngest county councillors ever in Northumberland and will join areas such as Rothbury and Cramlington that are benefiting from young blood and fresh faces representing them.”
