Local photographer Jane Coltman took a stroll around its beautiful grounds and took a series of stunning pictures of its spring flowers.
The snowdrops were mainly planted between the wars by Lady Grey, who was a great bulb enthusiast; over time, a number of natural hybrids have evolved and multiplied.
They are planted in large drifts throughout the garden, often with winter aconites, and make a fine display.
The gardens are open for local exercise and wellbeing but please do not travel from outside your local area. Admission charges apply. Please visit https://howickhallgardens.com/ for details.
