Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to give a televised address on Sunday, May 10 outlining the nation’s exit strategy from the existing measures, which were first rolled out on Monday, March 23.
The public were ordered to remain at home in a bid to stop the spread of the virus – only leaving for essential shopping, unavoidable travel to and from work, medical assistance and one form of exercise a day.

This is what the Government guidance says:
Can I walk my dog?
Yes – but only in the company of those you live with. If you need to walk your dog or tend to another animal, like a horse, during lockdown you must combine this with your daily exercise to minimise the time you are out of the house.
While outdoors, stay at least two metres away from anyone.
Can I go to the park?
Going to the park is permitted for outdoor exercise once a day, but only alone or with members of your household.
You must not travel beyond your local area to visit a park, and the Government has reminded the public that police have powers to disperse gatherings and issue fines where necessary if people are gathering in public places.

Can I drive somewhere to walk?
Families are advised to carry out their exercise near to where they live to avoid unnecessary travel.
Travelling further afield is only allowed if it is impossible to stay two metres apart when exercising in your local area.
Then you may go to a more open space.
Is there any time restriction on exercise?
There is no limit on daily exercise – but the Government says to spend as little time out of the home as possible.
