Alnwick Castle to recruit more than 100 seasonal staff in 2020
A wide range of recruits are needed, from aspiring performers and film tour guides to historical interpreters.
Just as importantly, the team at Alnwick Castle will be looking for efficient admissions and till operators, retail and administration assistants, food, beverage and kitchen assistants, cleaners and summer ticketing assistants.

Hide AdHead guide Daniel Watkins, who is involved in seasonal recruitment every year, said: "We always look to recruit special individuals who share our enthusiasm for Alnwick Castle and can pass that enthusiasm onto our many visitors.
“Alnwick Castle's staff are one big team; every member of staff is valued and plays an important part in ensuring visitors have the great experience they expect.
"Language skills are always in demand as we have an increasing number of groups visiting who speak Spanish, Chinese, French, Italian, German, Japanese and many more!

Hide AdThe castle will re-open for the 2020 season on Friday, March 27 but before then, all new staff will be recruited, trained, and in place to ensure visitors have the best time ever.
As usual there are many exciting activities planned at Alnwick Castle over 2020 including Harry Potter-themed events and another eagerly awaited and thrilling Joust of the North.
The roles will be advertised in early January on the Alnwick Castle website, in the local press and on social media.
