Since the Covid-19 pandemic closed down theatres a year ago, Neil Murray has been creating ‘Story Boxes’.
The idea grew out of his love for Victorian narrative paintings. Things are happening in these paintings and in the boxes; events unfold and clues are given but it is up to the viewer to make sense of the component parts and tell the story.
